Hailing from the ancient market town of Bedford, England, raised on the American roots music of her Anglo-Indian grandmother’s record collection, soulful Americana singer/songwriter Danni has spent the last decade carving out a respected place on the global Americana scene. She is now proudly based in Nashville, TN—her long-dreamed-of spiritual home—where she continues to grow her stateside presence, tour widely, and craft her forthcoming fourth full-length studio album.

Danni’s musical career was sparked by a chance encounter with Nashville producer and bassist Chris Donohue (Emmylou Harris), which led to the making of critically acclaimed albums A Little Redemption (2012) and Mockingbird Lane (2015). Both albums featured legendary Nashville players such as Al Perkins, Will Kimbrough, and Steve Fishell and received rave reviews for their authenticity and emotional depth. Her third studio album, The Melted Morning (2019), produced by Jordan Brooke Hamlin (Brandi Carlile, Indigo Girls), revealed a more intimate and haunting sonic landscape and was praised for its vulnerability and originality. Since then, Danni has continued to evolve with a live album, a covers collection, and a series of well-received singles.

Described as a “one in a million” artist with a "velvet voice" (Maverick Magazine) and with songs hailed as “classy and compelling” (R2 Magazine), Danni brings warmth, soul, and nuance to every stage she steps on. Her dynamic performances—whether in listening rooms, large theatres, or festival main stages—are known for melting hearts and holding audiences spellbound. She has shared bills and tours with the likes of Lucinda Williams, The Secret Sisters and Sturgill Simpson and her music has been featured on hit shows like Sons of Anarchy.

A three-time Americana Music Association UK award nominee, Danni has performed at esteemed festivals worldwide, including Cambridge Folk Festival (UK), Tønder Festival (Denmark), AMERICANAFEST (USA), Mile of Music and 30A Songwriters Festival (USA). Danni writes songs of hope, healing, and human connection, and has garnered comparisons to Brandi Carlile, Roseanne Cash and KT Tunstall.
